Dull Oil Filter Question
« on: December 22, 2013, 11:54:33 PM »

A very mundane question, but which oil filters do you guys use on your 4.0s??

Mine needs an oil change, but I can't seem to find the official Mopar filter like I used last time - what should I use instead??

FRAM or Motorcraft from the local motor factors, nice and cheap, and works a treat.
As long as it has a by-pass valve you should be Okay.

Or try Lighthouse but seems a bit extreme to me!

See not such a mundane question, everyone has there own opinion. Personally I doubt that there is much quality difference. Go to Eurocarparts and get the cheapest.
