cj5 body panels
« on: January 02, 2014, 11:16:42 AM »

Anyone know where to source cj5 body panels, I need to replace the drivers side or even a partial panel thats around the drivers door. I found a few in the states but its big money to have them shipped over.

Hire a van for the weekend - travel at ungodly hours to save on ferry fares - a couple of tanks of diesel and job's a good'un. :icon_super:

Thanks for the help guys, some good options there. I think the tub is for a for a 76 and never cj5, all the body mounts are supposed to be in different locations. The ebay one looks decent as well.

Check out page 15 for panels

http://stores.ebay.de/renegade-station/Jeep-CJ-55-86-/_i.html?_fsub=3379668018&_sid=225359398&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

but the rest of his stuff looks ok also and cheap postage costs, bear in mind anything that comes out of the UK by Courier will set you back at least £25

Ya was looking around it it is a pre 76 tub, the vent cowl threw me off, but it does have a tool box under the right seat so that is a indication that it is pew 76. Think its going to be easiest just to get the side panel out of germany, its a decent price and shipping is reasonable.
