Read UKJ links  (well the ones which opened correctly)
Quite disappointed TBH.
America is the land of overkill is it not?
I'm surprised that some enterprising type hasn't marketed a full replacement heater system that will roast you to death in five miles from start up.
Looking at the way Jeep built vehicles in the 1970's they only fitted the best quality mechanicals to their trucks.
GM Saginaw steering TH400 slush boxes, Quadratrac, Dana axles.
They could have fitted cheaper stuff and got away with it but didn't.
So I imagine that the pressure was on with the rest of the vehicle to keep costs down.
Some of the electric stuff really isn't fit for purpose.
Heater,  wipers,  and worst of all,  the poxy tailgate window motor.

I think you'll find that there are companies but they roll it all up in a big bling and beautiful package with retro knobs for the controls......
Vintage Air is one that do great stuff and being AC will also be part of heating system.
But will be spendy :icon_twisted:

Cheers :098:

Never heard of them before TBH

Being a bit of a scrap yard grease monkey myself,  I'd rather build up a system out of recycled bits and pieces.
Americans seem to have a great love of buying kits.
