Transmission Fluid Level
«

Just bought a dipstick to check the fluid level on my 2.7 crd, ran it for about 10 miles to get it hot then checked the level, dipstick completely dry
My question is how much do I put in to bring it up to the correct level, I can't see any leaks so must have been like it when I bought it.
Regards
Tom

Depends on how much is in there. Can't be too bad if it's working properly, not leaking and not falling out of Drive round corners. Are you sure you have the right dipstick?
If it's the right one, just add a little at t a time till you get a level. Use the correct oil, it's A Mercedes-Benz specific oil not ATF4 or Dexron.
