Grand Cherry radio removal
« on: June 16, 2006, 09:24:13 PM »

Hi all
I am new here and have just got an 06 Grand Cherry Predator - my first jeep!

Its a cracking vehicle and whilst it has got pretty much everything as standard, I want to swap out the standard CD/radio for a single din sat nav from my last car - Becker traffic pro + cd changer  and also fit a hands free car phone kit.

Could anyone please tel me how I remove the existing head unit & also if there is a replaceement facia panel. I have noticed that the radio facia is also part of the same moulding that has the 2 side air vents attached.

thanks for any help

Carefully prise the panel out with a blunt instrument. The radio is then held in with 4 screws.

thanks guys

The trim comes off really easily . I have also removed the front switch panel to gain access to the wirng for the cigar lighter which being switched by the ignition will enable me to use this a a source of power for my toys... origin B2 & phone kit.
