Panhard rod is ya track bar, so it's either the rubber bush at the axle end, or more likely the ball joint at the chassis end.

Drag link is the steering linkage, again that'll a ball joint at the outer end.

The front UJ could be the one on the prop, or the axle UJ's (judging by the price).

Anyhoo............it can all be fixed for a lot less than that.

Owen.  Please don't fuck about with the steering you'll only go and kill ya' self.  Get someone who knows what they're doing (or at least looking at!!) to have a look at it for you.

And don't go phoning Lighthouse for bits until you know which bits you need.  (if any).

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry....

Owen, Unless you have a good 10T press to hand, don't even attempt the UJ, I did and ended up at the local garage and got to watch the press creak and moan as it finally removed the caps for me at the local garage. by all means get the bits from Lighthouse for it if you know what you are getting, but pay a local garage to change it, should only take them a couple of hours at most.

The rest I would get the parts from KD and get them fitted either while you are up there, or at a local garage, there is nothing special about the jeep on those lines. Not sure what lift you have, and if you have relocated your track bar with the lift, but that shouldn't affect changing the bar.

If the garage have suggested it's unsafe to drive, I would drive it like you believe them until you have proved them wrong!

Owen, if you get your sway ( anti- roll ) bar back on then i am sure Paul will be able to help with parts/advice etc and save you a few bucks.

Just take it steady mate,

I had a stealership quote me for £600 of work for the TJ to get it through an MOT, it passed first time at the local station. As they have done you some work, they maybe trying to get some of the money back, beware  8)
