Should I chop me nuts?
« on: September 05, 2006, 11:31:10 PM »

Got me some spacers from LA supertrux, first of all they sent cherokee size ones, now they have sent me the CJ ones. Now I'd of thought the nuts that come with them would hold them on, whilst my nuts would fasten the wheels on, but the bloody threads are slighty different. If I use my nuts to hold the spacers on they're too long and the wheels wont fit up to the spacer, so should I chop my nuts down to fit or send the spacers back. Am I making sense? Or maybe I could find some wheel nuts elsewhere :smt102 , wanted to put my 33's on for CF, bugger.

I believe you could ask Stella to do it :)

If they are like the TJ ones, then the end is just s dome to cover the thread, the actual nut is only the first 8mm or so...

So I would chop them myself.

You could of course phone them and ask what they suggest....  They may supply nuts the right size!
