The time has come for the inevitable question about lift kits. (1979 CJ7)
I've been trawling the internet (inc. 4wd and quadratec) for a 4 inch lift kit.
There are so many available, that I need advice.
They seem to come with or without dampers, dropped pitman arm, t/case lowering kit etc. Then there's disconnects, extended brake pipes and steering stablisers to consider. And probably stuff that I haven't even thought about!
All advice gratefully received as I want to get it right first time.

Take a look a rubicon express kits, they pretty much include most parts that you'll need dampers, disco's, ext brake lines etc and i'm well happy with mine

Buy the BEST you can afford, don't skimp on suspension or you'll just replace it later. RE makes good stuff as do superlift and skyjacker. Like Trent and Greggmo said get the most complete kit, may cost more up front but it will save you HOURS of trying to find/match parts later.
