Bronco tyres
« on: January 28, 2007, 07:03:15 PM »

Looking at either of these for playing around -

http://http://www.bronco4x4.com/viewProductCat.asp?prodId=1025&nodeId=&divId=

http://http://www.bronco4x4.com/viewProductCat.asp?prodId=34&nodeId=&divId=

Anyone used either? Which would you recommend?
Don't need to worry about road use, they're going on a spare set of rims.
Thanks

Provided not for road use, or at least extended road use, definitely the Grizzly Claw.

I had the Grizzly Claws on 15 inch wheels, and they were great in the mud.
On the road they were so noisey it sounded like a light aircraft was following you up the motorway.
They also started to shed lugs after a while.
I would use them again if it was for off road only.

Chris they look cool, and they're way cheaper (which is a feature I like).

I'm after a really aggressive tyre to make the most of my unlifted situation, that's why I thought the Bronco's might've done it.

I've got Recips on Barbie.  I'll certainly be buying more.

There's lots of people seen them in action that'll tell you how well they work off road and on road they're much better than Grizzlies.

OK I was being lazy. Looks like they are Q up to 99 which strikes me as very good indeed.

Damn I wish I could justify them.
