the arches on my Xj are different to yours as they bolted on maybe because it the early model maybe worth looking into a set of these instead.

Extending a Bump stops just limits your articulation. Bit of negative choice IMHO.

What about trimming the panels abit and placing the flares a little higher?

Just caught up with this.

What ever you do DON'T GO CUTTING BITS OFF the rear arches of an XJ.
They're structural, to open the arch up you need to cut slits up between the spot welds, fold the excess under the arch, dress it back flat against the inner wheel arch and then give it a real good coat of underseal or wax oil.

Then fit rear TJ flares front and back   :D

I've got the 31" recips on Barbie and they tuck up inside the arch when she articulates.

Hellooooooo im here, been a tad busy

it was on a show stand all last weekend so havent had time to do any propper work on it except make it look pretty so  for now all i have done is used plenty of self tappers (well hidden ones) to attach the plastic bits back on.

here she is in her nice pretty clean dress

wont be that clean again for a long time

Got a few other little bits to fettle when i get time so thanks to your lots advice bits of plastic falling off may soon be a thing of the past :D .
