Drivers door controls stopped working.

Hello :-( The central locking does not work on that door, but does everywhere else, and the control panel (windows and door mirror) is completely dead. I am guessing that there is a fuse somewhere but I can't find any reference to it anywhere...
Any ideas?

The computer in the door has crashed. Disconnect the battery for a minute and it'll sort itself out.

I had a similar problem with my xj turned out to be the plug on the wiring harness that runs through the door pillar that goes to the fuse panel near the accelerator, it needed re fitting. not sure if the grand has the same setup but worth a look..... good luck..

Thanks for your help Mike, I will try it tomorrow, and I'm sure that all will be fine.

Thanks Tag, I've had the plug and wiring out from in between the door and the pillar and it all seemed fine. Should I be looking further back in the car?

Yes mate, the fuse box is right where you say. I'll have a look at the plug tomorrow. Is it obvious?

If you haven't disconnected the battery yet, try it first.

Thanks everyone. The 'turn it off and turn it on again' approach worked!!! Did what you said, disconnected the battery and put it back on, and bingo!!!
Thanks for taking time out to help me.
