had to do some paying work this week

most of the jobs I've been doing are the fiddly little jobs like fit the roll bar, seat belts, trace a fault in the lights (foot switch knackered, new one ordered), tidy the wiring, relocate the winch cut off and waiting for a few parts to turn up from the US.

Hit a milestone today, I definitely WILL be at Cheapfest, it’s now back to road legal (ish) *cough* don’t mention the lack of wheel arches*, all lights now work, top of front wings filled in, rear number plate fitted, I even re-fitted the clino.

Should get the rest of the checker plate tomorrow PM, so like the front it will be fitted unpainted, also wont have time to make the rubber inserts for the inner wings but the main section is there.

ok its dark, I  have just finished rewireing the fuel gauge, oiled and greesed the underside, fitted new gearbox mount and the rest of the armor, got some worries about the front prop shaft, quite a bit of sideways play in the spline, but if the worst happens I'll have a 2wd jeep for a while. if anyone has a front prop for sale and can bring it to cheapfest I would be a very happy bunny. :P
