How do I disable these bloody things on a 2007 Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.7 ?

Somebody might know, but the 3.7 and the Laredo aren't available in the UK, and wouldn't have daytime running lights anyway. Bummer.
If you get no joy here, try a US based forum - they should know.
