Battery Power Drainig Overnight.
« on: August 27, 2008, 09:26:57 PM »

Hi all

My brand new battery has gone dead overnight.  I only bought it on Saturday as a replacement for the one which I thought had died.  I have made sure everything is switched off but to now avail.  I have resorted to unplugging the battery overnight just so I don't have to jump start it every morning.

Any ideas?

It's a '93 cherokee 2.5 sport BTW  :-D

Anyway, to flatten a battery overnight, you must have a bit of load on there. Put a meter in line with the battery on the 10A setting and see how much current it's drawing.
