Just had an interesting conversation with a friend of a friend who has a 6.5 V8 Rolls Royce engine for sale, was told its based on the Chevy V8 so I recon it shouldn’t be to hard to find a bell housing to fit it to the standard CJ box, but will need to get a flywheel made/modified to run a manual clutch as was only made as an auto.
Should I or shouldn’t I?

Hmm. Rolls never made a 6.5, only 6.2 and 6.75. The 6.2 was an in-house design and the 6.75 was a Buick (GM) design. Perhaps that's what he was on about.
