Aluminium Skid Plate
« on: August 31, 2008, 01:31:23 PM »

I have just received a transmission/transfer case skid plate for the Liberty.

I chose alluminium since it is lighter, and I don't intend to do any serious rock crawling in it.

Is it best to paint the skid plate?  Or should I get away bolting it straight on, since it shouldn't corrode?

It will be fun trying to fit it, since the vehicle is so low compared to the Wrangler, and I can't use axle stands on the front independent suspension!
