Any ideas on how to release the end fastening on these? The button on one has gone solid and therefore I cant move the bar.

Maybe button has seized through lack of use.You could try a penetrating oil or WD40 maybe.Apply a few times and leave to soak in,then tyr it,maybe using a bit of gentle persuassion at the same time,just a suggestion

i did mine with some wd 40 then a small hammer, just tapping gently then they free'd off, its usually just clogging things up a bit

WD 40 and press the buttons on a regular basis to keep them free...

Thanks for replies. Done the WD40 and physical persuasion but to no effect. Bought the truck with the damn thing stuck, I was hoping for a more technical fix than a hammer! Even in several different sizes. :oops:
