I’m not too sure what you mean by a steering wiggle. But, it appears that Jeep front callipers have a reputation of sticking. Usually when the calliper sticks, one side gets very hot and when the brakes are re-applied the hot calliper does not work and whereas the cold/cooler one does thus causing the vehicle to pull towards the good side. I hope this makes sense!

I’ve no idea if this is what your problem is though! :-)

Sounds interesting to say the least. Wiggle seems odd, as when a caliper sticks, it would tend to pull to one side. Peter is right though, a sticky front caliper gets most Jeeps from time to time.

for the wiggle to be brakes you woul hav to have a slightly sticking caliper on warped disk but if you had a warped disc you should feel it slightly in most braking situations

i think its more likly steering damper related/wheel balance at the front

steering wiggle at 50 could be front wheel imbalance or steering damper failure, a siezed caliper will pull to one side and cook the disk when braking not when driving normally.

if your juddering with no pull when braking it could be the symptoms of a warped disk

procomp work well or get a std one from lighthouse jeep. all it does is remove and vibration and steering wobble from the front wheels so as long as it works and suits your pocket it doesn't realy matter.
