HI MY jeep is a 1997 facelift modal the switch is on the center dash you push it down once for wipe then if you whant to wash and wipe you push it down again . its the wipe that dos no work . the wash wipe works fine . ITs dos not work on wipe only . For  wash wipe you have to keep the switch pushed down. :?:

Id say if wipe function works and the wash / wipe function isnt working,

ie no wash and no wipe

go for the switch first.

Pm "The Smiths" hes breaking a facelift and sure he will have a switch

Had the same on mine, 95% sure its the switch especially if it don't light up.

Got a new one from the local Jeep dealer, IIRC less than £15 & if you ask nicely they will even fit it for nowt  :-D
