OK, lets say that I have a reasonably large quantity of misc Jeep & Chrysler parts & I want to trace the part numbers to find out what they are & fitment etc.........
I have tried several different sources but not having much luck........any ideas???

hmm tough one, all stuff thats packaged should have numbers on it i would have thaught. could prove to be dificult mate.

i have all the part numbers, no problem there..........i have all catalogues for all late model jeeps on cd.........but it could take a while using that as for example the 97-99 tj catalogue has 640 pages!!!!!

I knew a bloke who had a load of NOS Jeep stuff, but couldn't identify it because it was so damn hard to cross reference the part numbers. Last I heared he gave up and sold it off cheap as a job lot on Ebay...........

Seriously, though, the only way I can think of is to bribe a friendly parts wallah at a Jeep dealership to look them up on his system, but even this will be a bit long winded and working backwards from the part number doesn't always work as old part no's often supercede to new ones making it even more difficult.

Try and sort out anything you think is jeep related and that you can sell,then the other stuff just stick back on Ebay.Still not an easy solution to the problem but then im not sure there is one :? :? :?
