As long as the locating pins that hold the spring packs together are fitted into the holes on the spring pads on the axle you have done all you need to do. Check the torque on the u-bolts after a few journeys and you should be done.

I'm glad it seems to have sorted itself out.

axle is located in relation to body by the front leaf spring mounts and the studs on the spring seats, if the springs/bushes are okay you can't go wrong

i was just a bit concerned that the Axel
may have twisted out of line
doing one side at a time
the u bolts on the other side would hold it place
but as i undone both side
i was a bit unsure
job done
case closed
