for the difference in mpg I would still run a 4.0 petrol or if you really need decent mpg got for a petrol/lpg cherokee. both are far better than the dreaded diesel.
Whyever not where,s it at ?I,ve been looking at the mpg of the 4.0l and there is no way I can afford that. The lpg conversions seem the way to go but only if the tank is mounted under the jeep.
TD's get @ 26mpgpetrols @19-21 , more if you swap round wheel/tyre sizes every 2-3 months as SC*W did till he bought an MX 5........ :lol: :lol: Standard XJs will easily 25mpg without driving like a granny/stew
