Dog guard refurb
«

The plastic coating is coming off the frame of the dog guard. It is still well attached to the wire section. It is also stuck to a few bits of the frame.
Has anybody got any bright ideas about refurbing the guard? The frame is rusty where the plastic has come off so obviously has to be sanded back.
As for the wire section, leave it alone, or is there some paint that will stick to the plastic?

Personally I would use a heat gun/flame gun to remove all the plastic then get it powder coated.
Do the removal yourself as most will charge loads due to time it will take and powder coating expect to pay no more than 40-60 quid, you could even colour code to you wagon.

Thanks for the help. Think I`ll go down the `ammerite route and colour code it. Bugger getting all the plastic off though.
