umm yes you do have a point in that it was a shame that some members were unable to sit at the table and be part of the chat but we do seem to have a bit more room most of the time but it is a far better venue than the old one :smt017

I think that the pub is ok and as greggmo said it is easy to get to. And from a personal point of view it is just up the road from the baby sitters. I also think that you are going to find it hard to find a pub where we can all sit down together on a Saturday night.

there are a few alternatives within about a mile of the cock and magpies 1 the old house at home on lordswood road. 2 the kings highway quinton (by jeep dealer ). 3 the wernley on wolverhampton road. all of these have large reasonably well lit car parks.

The Cock and Magpies is local but i have to admit that its not the best pub for having the room for a pub meet,especially if more than about 6 people go.Maybe after the "guys"have helped me with my mods,i can treat them to a beer or three and at the same time,checkout a couple of Psb`s suggestions to see for ourselves whether each would be suitable or not.What say you "guys"?(im sure you know to whom i refer,each of you wonderful volunteers
