Ok so in the last year ive had starting issues as follows
Leaking injector seals = 1 x new injector 5 new copper seal ans bolts job done
4 weeks ago P1130 Code = fuel rail presure low turned out to be leaking HP injector pipe = New Pipe Job done
Today Outside Temp 45 degrees no start, tried connecting it up to another car to spin it over faster as this worked with the fuel pressure problem
No start , Now showing P0345 Code = Camshaft position sensor (bank 2) so my question , Now whats wrong ?
Love my jeep but the 2,7crd seems to be :icon_toilet:

Naaaah..... the 2.7 is just a bit temperamental, comes with the territory ..... (before the fooking anti trickery brigade start piping up) :098:
As for P0345, haven't had that one yet so this one is in Dr. Mike corner.
Edit found this :
Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit
What does this mean?OBD Code P0345refers to
This indicates that a problem was detected in the camshaft position sensor circuit of bank 2. Since it says circuit, that means the problem could lie in any part of the circuit - the sensor itself, the wiring, or the PCM. Don't just replace the CPS (camshaft position sensor) and think that will definitely fix it.
SymptomsPossible sumptoms of OBD code P0345
Symptoms can include: Hard starting or no start Rough running / misfiring Loss of engine power
CausesPossible causes of OBD code P0345
A code P0345 could mean one or more of the following has happened: a wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken the camshaft position sensor may have failed the PCM may have failed there exists an open circuit the crankshaft position sensor may have failed
Possible SolutionsWith a P0345 OBD-II trouble code, diagnosis can be tricky at times. Here are some things to try: Visually inspect all the wiring and connectors in the circuit Check for continuity in the circuit wiring Check the operation (voltage) of the camshaft position sensor Replace the camshaft position sensor as required Check the crankshaft position circuit as well Replace circuit wiring and/or connectors as required Diagnose/replace the PCM as required
Sometimes and in some models, low battery voltage or a weak starter can can trigger a Camshaft Position Sensor code.

Cheers Dutch
Well ill try by checking and cleaning all the connections then ill guess ill change the CSPS hope that will work hhope its not the pcm as that sounds expensive
however even if i can get it going i feel its time to say goodbye to the jeap as i need a motor that will start every morning, maybe a 3.1td is on the cards

Mate now i have a tapping sound from the engine bay, could this be injector or tappets argh :die:

OK it was 45 degres this morning and no start again thought i would try some easy start and VROOOOM seems like cam position sensor was a false code
Could my starting issue simply be down to needing new Glow Plugs
