just checked they are 24v so remember that, you need to be looking at truck wiper systems or motors at least.

I'm not doubting you, because I know very little about M715s, but after a quick Google I found a couple of pages that seem to suggest that the wipers should be vacuum operated.
If you have a look at the bottom picture on this page you'll see the little handles - apparently these are actually vacuum motors too:
http://www.vintagemilitarytrucks.com/M715%20Arkansas%203%20White.htm

Here's a page that suggests that they should be vacuum:
http://home.comcast.net/~sday77/m715/index.htm

And finally, these eBay ad has two, and says that they have an arm for manual use too:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TWO-VACUUM-WIPER-MOTORS-MILITARY-M715-M38-JEEP-/170857939538?hash=item27c7ed4252&vxp=mtr#ht_500wt_1156

Sorry if this stuff is wrong, I'm just going by what Google tells me!  :003:

Brynjaminjones dood, - i am unashamedly not interested in spannery stuff, so when i see wipers with friggin handles for me to use to move to get them to move, i use the 2+2=5 method  :003:

when im sober i will check those links cheers

however if "god made them with petrol engines and vacume motors for the wiper and of cource 24 volt" how does that mate up with a diesel transplant?
