hub asembly
« on: January 27, 2008, 10:54:26 PM »

Today i have been stripping out the front axle on 97 TJ to replace the U joint.

The hub assembly was a stubbon dastard and when i put the puller on it, the 2 parts seperated. Front part came out with studs fitted. I then had to get the rear out with the other half of the bearing. It all came Ok eventually but i have seen a replacement hub assembly is sold as one unit.  :?

Can i just press the 2 parts together after greasing it up  :?:

All seems ok, no play
