lift using heavy duty rear springs

hi folks!
my cherokee 2.5 td has saggy arse syndrome, so im changing the rear springs anyway, the heavy duty rear spring should give the back a bit of a lift, could i just add some spacers at the front to even it out?

The heavy duty springs are TD springs. They will make a 2.5 or 4.0 petrol sit 1" higher, but your TD will be back to proper
height. It may stick it's arse in the air until the springs settle. No need for spacers up front.

If your putting HD spring on, as in suited for towing, you'll loose articulation over normal extended springs.

the springs are extra heavy duty 5 leaf springs should lift even my oil burner 2 - 3 inches according to the chappy at mansfield 4x4 !?

Ah, when I got springs from lighthouse, they were just td springs.

Surely putting HD springs on a light duty vehicle is just going to make the ride bastard hard, and like dx says, not much use offroad as they wont allow the axle to articulate fully. There isn't enough weight in a Cherokee to need HD springs.
However, if you got a job as an anvil salesman, they'll be great.

What do you hope to use the Jeep for? (Tyre size, type and lift size are interdependant with driving conditions).

Shackles and spacers would be the cheapest way to lift and not loose articulation (you'll not gain any either)

the jeep is 80% on road (the missus uses it when i'm at work) 20% off road ( project come play toy for me ) looked into shackles and spacers on tinternet, any recommendations of where to buy them from?
all the places i found are in obama country!

The smaller, the better. Not everybody has broadband. Some still have dial-up, and quite a few use their mobile
or PDA phone to view the site.
