Winch webbing

Seemed like about the right forum to put this in, I've no connection with the company, but...

Don't know if any of you guys are interested,

Needs to be used with an ally hawse though.

£35+vat for 110' and 18p per foot on custom lengths there after.

ive seen it used befor but never seen advertised.

also if it snapps im pretty sure you can simply just tie a knot in it! :icon_smile:

Have a look at the online shop - just seen the 60" high lifts for £35 !!!  The same ones machine mart sell.

anyone emailed them asking if you can see the certificate of conformity for it? I use nylon straps for tying things down on the wagon and  a 5 tonne rated strap can  break with a lot less weight on it, and its a lot thicker strap than that. I wouldn't trust that at all.

Ive got some of this somewhere!!!!!!!!!

Its performance was explained to me like this.......It twists all over the place, does not go on the drum at all organised, Snags on the drum because of the mess it can get in, but light weight and very handy to carry with you to either extend your winch rope of put on the drum in case of an emergency like your present one snaps or frays etc!

In short...............Its a pile of poo :icon_toilet: FWIW Stock Steel Winch rope is is far better and safer  (in the right hands)

been away this weekend but the general thought on it from every one i asked was, its crap.

shame cos i figured it be worth a try for 35 quid, i spose it'll only be good for recovery waggons an stuff like that really!
