Well it seemed a good idea
« on: July 12, 2009, 05:37:41 PM »

Plan was simple..hose out engine bay, oil and refit K&N filter and refit the disconnects that were taken off 11 months ago after the last MOT...before washing TJ prior to booking MOT

Oiled K&N and hosed engine bay, decided to leave refitting K&N due to amount of water on the air intake unit

Then discovered battery was loose

whilst retightening bolts dropped spanner into engine bay and whislt getting it out discovered how much crap was on chassis and in transfer case skid plate

Tightened bolts and removed mud and pottery

Refitted disconnects which was an arse..took big screwdriver BFH AND Hilift to get there (thats 2 weeks on the trot Hi Lifts been needed on TJ)

Washed it..discovered due to TRS passenger side front tyre tread has worn down a lot..hopefully still OK to get through MOT

Least it was sunny..

I recall you had a similar problem on your Grand.

It could be worse - you could live in Milton Keynes!
