Yoke question - XJ
« on: July 15, 2009, 10:45:02 AM »

Are the front and rear yokes on the diffs (dana 30 / 35) interchangable?  I know that the front prop will go onto a rear yoke, but are the splines in the diff the same?

Because I've a front prop and a rear yoke from a spare back axle, planning on getting rid of the pos cv's zg prop.

you wont do any harm trying the yolk on the axle. just make sure you wind the nut off and back on the same amount of turns. you will see streight awy whether its gonna be right or not mate. i would think.
