Is the clutch lever engaging correctly? It maybe rotating but not disengaging inside properly?
Correct me if im wrong, but the brake assembly is in the drum. This assembly has a tendancy to seize and prevent free spool first. The motor will still drive but will finally give up. Seems common on brake in drum winches, as the brake is exposed to all the crap, that runs through into the drum.
Strip down and rebiuld me reckons........Easy job
Hope this helps Mocaj

put it in free spool. put in your remote. leave the hook attatched to the bumper and give it a few clicks in. this should free it up mate. they tend to stick when they aint ben used for a while. dont ever do i though if it carrys on tightening up back it off.
