3" lift & then add longer shackles when the tank makes it drop.......

Go any higher & you will get drivetrain probs & cost loads more £££££

Wouldn't go near the Rusty's lift kit - yeah, +4.5" lift, but only through rock hard springs - absolutely shite off raod and horrible on road. Mate of mine had it fitted and put it back to stock after about a year (still has the kit in his garage if anyone's interested!).

I fitted the Rubicon Express kit to my Cherokee +3.5" - excellent bit of kit and no sagging after 2 years heavy abuse. Talk to Steve at FTE... or drop me a line if you wnat more info.

All the info you'll need, just book a week off to go through it all.

'Soft' rear springs are about 150-165 lbs I believe but with gas I'd recommend more or they'll be flat after 3 months flexing. Shock choice is up to you, everyone has favourites - I like Old Man Emu.

As to shocks on my XJ I went for Edlebrock IAS' you would have to check the lengths they do for that size lift. Got them on my XJ and they are great on/offroad. Link is http://www.edelbrock.com/ but I keep getting access denied when I try to go deeper :shock:

On my TJ I have the Rubicon Express 3.5" Lift but with the extreme duty shocks. Nice soft ride for offroading.

its running 31's with a bigger offset wheel, I'm sticking to 30's so wont be a problem
