cherokee 2.5 axles

Hi, does anyone know if the 2.5 petrol or diesel axles off a xj are a different ratio to the 4.0 ones.

If you could find a good set of cheap but good axles from a 2.5 petrol cherokee with the 4.10 diffs that would be even better. lol

Well done BD on pulling up that thread. It covers all the points. Basically the axles from a 1997-1999 2.5ltr petrol would be the best choice. In my opinion it isn't worth swapping to a set of 3.73 diesel axles as the change isn't significant.
