shock absorber bushes
« on: November 26, 2009, 02:12:12 AM »

ello all!
my shock absorber bushes (front and rear) are rotten and was wondering if i can replace these or would i have to buy whole new shocks (just spend lots on new cv's and bits and pieces so tryin to do it on the cheap)...
i've tried ones from land rover and they are the two part but just a bit too big so wondering if anyone else had a go and where i could find them (or similar for another car that would fit with a bit of 'love')

I'd get new shocks, just cheap ones if you're on a budget.

Try speaking to Lighthouse, they'll know if they are available and probably have some in stock if so.

What about the likes of these people: http://www.polybush.co.uk I'm sure there are other manufacturers, but none spring to mind at the moment.

I have some ProComp poly versions on the shelf in the garage if you need any measurements.
