Took the plunge to get it sorted & got the Jeep back this afternoon.

Glad I got it sorted, the bodyshop had to cut out the "infected" part of both wings as it was worse than it appeared from the outside. Apparently they welded in some new metal on the wings, finish is very good, you cannot see any evidence of repair.

Cleaned out, protected & sealed the strengthening plate underneath which was responsible for trapping salt & shit underneath the wings.

Hopefully they are gonna e-mail me some pics on Monday, I'll post em up when I get em  :icon_winkle:

Got this pic from my mate at the bodyshop today, hard to believe there was only a couple of small bubbles on the top of the wings, nasty stuff lurking underneath.

Anyone else got this kind of paint bubbling take note peeps  :icon_eek:
