V8 SPRINGS

Would it be worth buying a set of springs of a V8 grand are they any longer than ones from a I6 Ltd. I want some more clearance but min wage & a baby make it hard to save so thought this might do for now. I already have a 2" BTW.

I have looked into this (WJ..skint..etc) but couldn't confirm what springs a v8 had. After some dubious measuring at sainsbury's I would say the CRD overland had the highest ride height. Looking for some of these myself.
