oil pressure

did the 250 mile oil change today (first proper oil change since fitting the engine) before the change I did notice the oil pressure seemed to hover about 60lbs when cold the drop to 15-20lbs when hot and stay there, I know the CJ gauges are really just suggestions but does that sound right?

buy, borrow, beg or steal a proper oil pressure gauge if your that worried, my electric one was is a brand new smiths one and dosent read correctly i actually have more pressure than the gauge says
.
Now i just go off the fact that theres a reading thats a lot more when its cold and it goes up when warm if you rev it.
There will presumably be a Jeep or Haynes manual that will tell you what the min/max oil pressure should be anyway.

Forget electric gauge - go back to basics or put a light on it.

put a couple of coils in the capilary tube to act as a movement absorber and your fine.
