define works?

it exists, never used it myself, know someone who has, its no good for patching up a part.

I'd get it done in real chrome, or chrome powdercoat

I have seen both used and applied.While the powder coat is a much better product than the chrome paint (absolute pants), it will always be nowhere near the finish of chromium.All I'd say is get your butt down to a powder coating firm and have a look at the finished result before comitting.

I have some left in a small can you can try to see how it is, in all honesty its nothing like chrome  more a highly metalic silver, I brought it to do a temp repair on some headlamp reflectors , its done a good job for the price  and leaves me to get some spare reflectors re silvered professionally.
