Golf balls have been well documented to cause major carcass failures. Dynabeads are just stupidly expensive. I use 600g of premium BB pellets in the Mog tyres( 405/70/20) and they work beautifully.

Do you need to take the tyre off to put these bb in ....or can you just blast em in with a shotgun...? :017:

I run BB pellets in my mudzillas as could not get them balaanced as needed 800gms weight on the rims, about 600gms of BB sorted them

I used .2gm BB's - though next time I'd use more lower grade ones as worked out the big ribs in these tyres stop them moving about as much as they should.

But when you stop it sounds a bit like air brakes as the pellets hit the rim as they fall down

I think the dynabeads can be fitted through a valve stem, or maybe it is their own custom valve stem, which would require at least breaking the bead and sort of defeats the point. I just broke the bead off the Mog tyres and poured them in, but I had 3000x0.2g to lob in. I think I did all 4 tyres for about £20 or so.
May not be everyones cuppa, but it certainly worked for me.
I think Dynabead official site has a chart that lists the recommended weight of beads for a given tyre size
I found it.

Road Legal in UK/EU? (Dyna Beads or BB pellets)

As for golf balls, well, only in America :greggmo:

Why wouldn't it be? I am sure somebody will pipe up that they cannot find a piece of H&S bullshit or legislation to say it won't kill you on a Tuesday, but then they may well be too busy reading the Daily Wail!

I ran Dynabeads in my 33's and thought they were great. No problems whatsoever. :icon_super:

I would've thought there was a possibility that long term in a daily driver all that stuff trundling away inside would start to wear the inside of the tyre carcass.

Didn't seem to be happening. Everything is soo smooth that it just moves about as it needs to with negligible friction. When I changed tyres again, they had done 12k miles with no internal wear, and the BBs were still their original white colour and not marked with rubber.

they do - they drop when speed drops to below about 10mph

similar action to balancing powders etc.

i dont doubt you for a moment but i dont understand why not the dyna beads work so well due to there fluid like adility to sread in the tyre so wy would fluid itself no work it would not lye in the bottom as you might think
