02 grand Cherokee crd 2 7

Anyone know the procedure for changing the thermostat??
Looking on eBay I see a metal housing priced about £55

Is this the thermostat? cus it don't look like the brass plate and spring thermostat that is on my car!!!!!! costing a fiver

Where is it located?
What needs to come off to get at it?
