Are our jeeps required to wear fender flares while on the road?

that is a tough one. there are all kinds of answers to that. the cops have pulled people for having too much tire visable outside the body. but if you check any mot stations book there is no mention of it being a failure. so it all comes down to weather you are prepaired to risk it or not i think. and be ready to put some on to produce. :wink:

Just out of interest why do you ask?
I say that because you have tube fenders front and built metal extensions rear 8)  do you not?
Are you asking whether or not you need the rubber/plastic arch type extensions!

Yes I have tube fenders, but the rear ones are only bolted on...

And Im not sure if I would ever take them off, except to paint... but I'd probably put them back on

Rule of thumb..... if you can see tread from directly above it ain't legal.
