TJ was dark inside so i bought a map light

On the TJ ive noticed that there isnt a switch to turn on the Interior lights so i found this map light by Osram. Only cost £15.00 and the quality isnt that bad either  :icon_biggrin:

try turning the pull switch that puts the light on, that turns the lights on in the footwell and sound bar if you have one fitted.

it also dims/brighten the instrument clocks

Tried that, and it doesnt work  :icon_sad: but it was a good excuse to buy something else

Do the footwell lights come on when you open the doors? if not then someone may have removed the door defeat fuse if they had the doors off & not re-inserted afterwards.

Fixed the light switch, it was a bad connection behind the dash

Do you live in Blackpool?


It's normally fitted on the passenger door  - that way it does not distract the driver!!!
