Hi all - I've had a look around on the site, and couldn't see anything specific...is there a how to guide on replacing the glow plugs on the 2002 WJ CRD?

Any advice/help will be very much appreciated...

Not sure exactly the methods required on the WJ but changing a glowplug is just the same as changing a sparkplug, the difficult thing is usually getting at them as some are harder than others to get at. They are gnerally under the injection ports/rail. There should be a small nut ontop of the plug, this has to be removed first as this is the electrical circuit, some are connected to each other via a rail system so undo all of them in one go and disconnet the rail, next you will need a deep socket to fit over the plug and the threaded section, then its just a matter of undoing each one and replacing them one by one, then just reinstall the rail connector and small nuts. job done

Cheers - I'll have a crack at it once it's back home, take photos and do a little write up.  If nothing else comes out of it, at least I'll have the photos to show me where all the bits go back.....

IIRC the one near the bulkhead is a bitch to work on, dropping the TC mount  bolts & lowering it on a trolley jack will free up some room around the back of the engine
