Computer Genuis required
« on: March 29, 2011, 10:12:01 PM »

Sorry lads this has nothing to do with the Jeep but I have an issue with my computer, :banghead:

I can not connect to any search engines such as Google, Yahoo or Bing, I can access everything else just not these, it seems to have only happened after I updated my current Browser (Mozilla Firefox) but I have tried loading back through Explorer and its the same issue. Any help would be appreciated. :100:

Try emptying your cache, cookies, bookmarks, everything etc...use Disk Cleaner or similar if you can't do it manually. Then reboot and see how ya go.

Sounds more like a problem with your mozilla update - try a going to a restore point and back to your previous version of Mozilla (3.6?) and see what happens.

I know some like it but I've never had any success with Mozilla - I find it creates more problems than it solves.  Just my opinion tho...... :greggmo:

Did a search for you. Try following the last couple of posts in this thread:

Need to delete Host files. Run HijackThis to find 'em. :003:

Spybot S&D writes a hosts file that blocks known malware sites and should fix your problem.
