Correct antifreeze for Diesel XJ?
« on: April 19, 2011, 04:08:10 PM »

Im going to flush my cooling system using holts radflush 2 step cleaner stuff and the hose to give the system a full clean as I dont know when it was last done by the previous owner. Been looking at all the new antifreeze products and most places recommend HOAT antifreeze as it lasts longer (normally red stuff) would this be suitable for my 1998 2.5td or should I just stick to the good old green stuff?

Thanks.

stick with the cheaper stuff and change it more often.

or the reason many on here might say to use the cheaper stuff is that the engine will blow up before you get your moneys worth out of the antifreeze
