Can find data for every tranny except for XJ diesel!
I know the diesel AX15 and 3500 are different part nos to the petrol versions, I would guess the spacing between the lower ratios may be a tad shorter, 4th will be 1:1 as usual any other noticable difference will be in 5th and reverse. Jeep tend to alter the overall gearing more with their axle ratios than anything else so I reckon it wouldn't be too bad.
It should bolt straight on, but you need to check the size of the clutch spline and pilot bearing as the AX15 is a more substantial transmission so could be bigger in these respects.
