may be a silly question but seeing as you have already taken of the hinges, why have you not taken the screen frame off for painting?

the wiper motor wire unplugs from the dash switch and feeds out easy enough and the cowl seal is only held on with self tappers

 :icon_redface: I know......  cant see any rust coming from under there so trust ok.  Can always flip down when hinges are on and have a look/maybe touch up in places.
I'm also a bit limited in space to hang things.

Still early days because these pics were taken when it was just on.

Cook for 48 hours, take all the protection/masking crap off, fit the ss bling, roll it out and then see what it looks like.

In my opinion better than when it left the production line. :icon_winkle:

Something very theraputic in unwrapping a CJ7.  Had a friggin cold all weekend and I guess that hanging around
in two pack clearcoat yesterday was not a brilliant idea....really felt like s*1t and still do so stayed home today.

Anyway, and you knew this was coming....I will now bore you to death with the buildup...WO7 revisited  :hysterical:

[attachment=3]
before you ask, that crater under ns rear light I found @ final prep, dug out and primed, no time for fill, will be hidden under number plate.
[attachment=4]

As far as the paint job is concerned : 2 areas to correct
1) OS sill below chequerplate to redo because of silicone contamination
2) NS panel with jeep logo/birty CF decal : too much clear coat and uneven so rub back with 1500 then 3000 and polish.

Then light polish of clearcoat on whole truck to bring out the sparkle.
