i have a lucas LRA532 alternator fitted to my jeep , the wiring has been buggerd about with over the years and im having problems, does any one have any external wiring diagram for this model? any help greatly appreciated , steve o

Thats probably not a standard alternator then
If you take it off and clean it then normally the terminals are all marked up or cast into the casing so you can find out where to go from there.

thanks guys, yep, defo not standard ! , iv e sent the link to my mate who is helping sort the wiring as its all magic to me , bit like fridges, how the hell do they work

Well, there are 4 main components, compressor, condensor, expansion device and evaporator.....
