Yes

But for yours?

No...................

The Dana 300 you got is the short rear output model (useful) that was available in 81 and went into the late CJ5s  as well I believe.
There is a thing I got in mine (that was in yours) that allows me to use a $20 cable and a $100 dollar CJ speedo :icon_twisted:
(I spoke to Bubba about this last CF and he mentioned he has some (or had some ) CJ speedos)

The later model had a big hole and plate like a 231 so you can use your leccy speedo in your TJ with the toothy thing of correct size to equate to your wheel/tyre size.

As it happened the doohicky thing I got made the speedo work and was accurate up to 40 but beyond got well boastful so used to have the satnav to tell me the truth.

Will try to find the thing that screws in if ya want.

er so I got a CJ speedo offof Malibu, and I have a short nose CJ cable coming from Lighty's. So I was just wondering if there was some sprocket thingmebob that would make the speedo correct for running 35" tyres

This is a great source for speedo gears and other stuff, not sure about short output setup tho, but they were helpful with me.
